Background
Auto-history.tv is based in London, England and the film archive seen here has been accumulated over many years to become one of the largest and most comprehensive specialist motoring film archives in the world. It has recently been made available online for free to serve as a useful reference source for all serious car enthusiasts as well as students of motoring history.
Many of the films in the archive are more than 50 years old and include some which were previously thought to have been lost or destroyed. Consequently, the Producers would like to thank the many car manufacturers, advertising agencies, international film archive libraries, government departments, military organisations, the US Library of Congress and others who made great efforts to assist with the research in tracking down these films and then making them available for others to view and enjoy.
